Enjoy your outdoor living space with some of these seating and entertaining areas. Decks and screened porches and gazebos, oh my! Even their lesser known cousin, the pergola — Rhine Pools can make it happen! We’re back this week with the third installment in our Outdoor Living Oasis blog series, this time focusing on all sorts of different spaces for sitting and enjoying the weather or entertaining guests around the pool. For a remarkably spacious and functional outdoor living space, consider one of the following options.
Decks
The tried and true backyard overwatch, the grill master’s domain, and the place of many Memorial Day, 4th of July, or just-for-the-heck-of-it parties, decks have been giving homeowners a classic outdoor living solution for years. Whether you’re looking for the natural appeal of wood, the low-maintenance ease of PVC or composite materials, or the rustic beauty of natural stone, we can build it — we have the technology.
Screened Porches
If you’re looking for outdoor living, light on the “outdoor” part, screened porches are the perfect choice for you. Enjoy a summer shower without getting wet, or enjoy dinner with friends without a needing nasty bug sprays. You’ll still get to enjoy sweet summer breezes, beautiful sunsets, all that jazz. BUT you get to do it all with a roof over your head and a screen to keep nasty bugs away from you, your family, and your guests.
Gazebos
Gazebos give you the same overhead protection of a screened porch, you just miss out on the “screened” part. A more open-air outdoor entertaining area, larger gazebos are a great place to build the central hub of your outdoor party, while smaller gazebos can make for great, intimate little seating spaces. And hey, if it starts raining, they can save the day as a great impromptu shelter.
Pergolas
This is the one where we might have lost you in the beginning. Pergolas, perhaps the least well known of the outdoor shelters, are those cool structures pictured to the side right here. Pergolas are typically covered with trained climbing plants (like vines and such), and are the perfect way of melding your landscaping with your entertaining area. Perhaps above a deck or patio, or perhaps just along your pool deck, you can wind vines or string lights around the “rafters” of your pergola for an awesomely attractive outdoor living area. If any of these outdoor living areas have piqued your interest, or you’re interested in some fascinating combination thereof, give us a call. We’d love to make your wildest outdoor living dreams come true.
Building an Outdoor Living Oasis with Rhine Pools
At Rhine Pools, we take pride in setting ourselves apart from your typical pool contractor. After seeing the way other pool contractors led their customers through the runaround, Jay Rhine wanted to give the people what they really wanted. Someone who will be with you, start to finish, and leave you with something better than you could have ever imagined. A new pool in Maryland that makes use of landscape architecture brings a lot more value, not just to your pool, but to your outdoor living and your home as a whole.
